Feature: Angelus Introduces Chronodate Titanium Blue at W&W

Angelus is a revived brand with a history stretching back to 1891, and which even encompasses the mighty Panerai for whom they made movements at one point.

Once a pioneering manufacturer of chronograph watches, they’re finding their way back to the upper echelons of the industry by launching models like this one, which has debuted at Watches and Wonders.

Paying tribute to an old model from 1942, the Chronodate is available in three limited series of 25 pieces, including this blue titanium version. Other versions are in red gold, and another titanium model with a white dial.

These sporty chronographs display the date around the circumference of the matt-frosted dial, with an arrow-tipped date-pointer and syringe style hour and seconds hands complementing the bi-compax format.

Inside Angelus has installed its latest automatic Calibre A-500, a column wheel chronograph made to a historic design that harks back to the glory days of the luxury watch brand.
